My dad and his Thai wife wanted to come over and see the baby and decided to stay for dinner. We loved having them and had a nice time seeing them.

So it's late and I was reviewing some pictures I had recently taken and realized that I like noodles, so I decided to make a noodle theme for Typester. There is a simple elegance here that I like about a rather unassuming bowl of noodles. A dash of chili oil and away we go!

Here are some recent pictures of Kanjanika. She was born on October 2, 2004 at 5:56 p.m. She weighed in at 8 pounds 13 ounces, which, as it turned out, was really big for my wife Kanjana who is 5'-2" and normally weighs in at around 114 lbs!!! Needless to say, after 18 hours of labor we are really glad that she's here and that everyone is doing well, despite me and my wife being really tired all the time!!!

So here is the burgundy beetle on the car carrier ready for its trip to eastward.
