So we decided to visit the snow last Sunday and had a chance to show both Kanjana's father and Kanjanika the snow for the very first time. Let's see, so Kanjanika is 7 months old and has never seen snow, and Jian is 63 years old and has never seen snow. He commented that he really had a great time, it was cold but very beautiful too. We're still waiting back for comment from Kanjanika on what she thought about her first time in the snow.

Kanjanika's grandfather came to visit for an extended stay... in fact he's now responsible for daycare! She seems to not mind as long as there is someone around to set her back upright when she falls over, wipe her face when dirty and recover the toys when she misplaces them.

More pictures of Kanjanika at six months old. One is of her in the green bean-bag chair, which is perfect for her because it keeps her in one spot. The other photo is of her in her car seat with her Nike shoes on ready for the road and the last photo was taken at a wedding a few weeks back. She's looking pretty in pink.

In these pictures Kanjanika is about 5 months old. She's up to about 16 pounds now and about 24 inches long. She still smiles a lot and eats a lot too! I think there's a shot in there with her sporting her new white Nike shoes!! Surely she'll outgrow them before they'll wear out but I must say she looks cute in them.
